Each rock on this board represents the fact that I ran down my long driveway and touched the gate, ran back, and did ten squats. Not a big deal. But eight rocks means that I ran eight times down and back and did 80 squats. You see, I started putting rocks on the board because I would lose count of how many times I ran. Haha! But then, the rocks took on a different meaning. They motivated me to run and mark it on the board. Now I like the look of the rocks on the board because it shows that I did something!
Are you overwhelmed by a project or a goal? Do you dread starting something because you fear that you may fail? Step out! Just do one rock’s worth. Take a tiny step. Mark something you accomplished, and you will want to add to it. You can do it!!!
